Founded in 1956 by Conroy Asa Perry and his son, Sidney Lee “Bud” Perry, better known as "Daddy Bud", C.A. Perry and Son, Inc. began as a small family business selling 50-pound bags of fertilizer from the front porch of their office. As the local farming industry grew, so did their business. Bud had a unique ability to connect with the farming community and recognized their evolving needs in a rapidly expanding market. His passion for trucking and keen business sense led him to diversify, establishing a transportation division that complemented the company's growing fertilizer operations.
